Why City College - Luo Hai Lun
We’re also more than just plain numbers. More importantly, we produce students that impact our society in ways far greater than their results. For example, meet Luo Hai Lun, our graduate from 2008, who is now training at NIE to be a teacher, on her way to inspiring even more of the youths of our society to succeed in life.

“City College has empowered me to believe beyond what I could possibly achieve” – Luo Hai Lun

We believe that school should be a place where you discover what you can do, build meaningful relationships, learn how to learn and shape your core values. In City College, we are family, we are friends, we are a team, we are a learning community and we are salt and light.

Gwendolyn Janelle understands all about family and light. She completed her O Levels in 2009 and with encouragement from various teachers in City College, she has now gone on to pursue an Advanced Diploma in Photography in City College’s School of Design and Entrepreneurship, on her way to becoming a professional photographer.

“Never be afraid of how other people look at you. After all you are doing it for yourself. At City College, teachers believe in me for who I can become and not who I once was” – Gwendolyn Janelle
